Welcome to Caistor St Edmund and Bixley Parish Council

This site has been created by the Parish Council to allow us to connect with the people living and working in our village. You can read more about what the Parish Council does here, and you can contact the Parish Council about any local issues.

As a result of the Boundary changes and the Community Governance Review Caistor St Edmund Parish Council merged with Bixley Parish Council on 1st April 2019 to form the NEW Parish Council “Caistor St Edmund and Bixley Parish Council “.
The Parish Council is made up of 9 councillors who represent the village on various matters. We are the third tier of local government after Norfolk County Council and South Norfolk District Council.​​

Vacancy on the Parish Council
We have one vacancy on the Parish Council. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to help shape the area in which you live, for the present and for the future. No previous councillor experience is necessary and the commitment required is not onerous. We meet just 6 times a year. Help us to make a difference. Crown Point Estate proposal
Representatives from Crown Point Estate attended the Parish Council meeting on 13th March 2024. They provided a brief presentation to the meeting, further details are provided in the draft minutes of this meeting. The Estate is looking to work with the Parish Council to help improve the existing Arminghall village hall, with the potential of a proposed small development, approximately 8 properties within Arminghall. The Parish Council is currently considering proposal and further discussions to be held at a later date. Copies of the presentation documents are provided below;
