Upcoming Temporary Closure of C189 Caistor Lane, 8th to 9th May 2024

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (STRO10820) affecting the C189 Caistor Lane from its junction with C201 Stoke Road for 118m south eastwards in the PARISH OF CAISTOR ST. EDMUND AND BIXLEY to facilitate Norfolk County Council surface dressing.


The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 8th to 9th May 2024 for the duration of the works expected to be about 2 days within the period.


Alternative route is via: Norwich Road, Stoke Road, Arminghall Lane, B1332 Bungay Road (Poringland, Framingham Earl, Caistor St. Edmund and Bixley).


If necessary, the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order.


Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.


In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
